Texas State is collaborating with Central Texas Medical Center to encourage employees and their families to attend.

Free transportation and no hassle with parking

Transportation has been donated and made possible through First Transit. A more detailed schedule is available at www.worklife.txstate.edu.

Paid time off to attend

Employees are authorized to use 30 minutes of paid wellness leave as provided in UPPS 04.04.32 Texas State Wellness Program even though this event is off campus.  It is suggested that you combine wellness leave with your lunch hour to maximize your time at the fair.  Additional time away from work must be reported as vacation or comp time.  Advance approval by your supervisor is required.

Blood Draw, JCK 460, Feb. 14th, 8a.m. - 10 a.m. 

As a convenience for faculty and staff, Texas State University is participating in HealthCheck by scheduling an on-campus pre-event Blood Draw on Feb. 14th at JCK room 460. This Blood Draw allows participants to have screening tests done in advance of HealthCheck and pick up their results on April 18th at the Health Check fair.
